Synopsis:
Hank moderates the internet’s worst horrors, plays violent video games and cares for his abusive, dying father. Hunting a black-market kidney takes him into a grotesque world of sex workers, grifters and organ dealers. Then the woman he adores vanishes.
Inspired by shooter games and macho podcasts, Hank becomes Burt Manly, a masked vigilante on a deranged rescue mission. As bodies pile up and his exploits go viral, is he finally the hero, or just another non-player character?
As the chaos escalates, Hank finds himself caught in an increasingly twisted game. But who's really pulling the strings, and is Hank just another non-player character?
