Synopsis: 

High school senior Clara is counting the days until she can leave behind her abusive foster home for Yale. But her plans are interrupted when a mysterious new teacher becomes dangerously obsessed with her. Mr. Heller offers Clara special mentorship, promising to secure her future, but as his fixation grows, Clara uncovers disturbing connections between her new teacher and a string of unsolved killings.
